This was a mix I compiled in early 2021, with these tracks being selected primarily for their textures, and how they’d contrast. Gloss drops filling in holes from corrosion, humid air in hollow metals, snowdrifts on shattered concrete.
Dualities that are present in the oscillation of heartbreak. Crawling drunk over memories, you inflate them with perfumes to hover you back to your feet, until your head bursts and you crash back down.
Sonics for the aching heart's spikes and bubbles.
