Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist KeiyaA pays tribute to the ‘Saturnian Queen’ June Tyson in this 30 minute show. Tyson was the only woman invited into Sun Ra's musical universe during her tenure with The Arkestra, which lasted from 1968 to her passing in 1992.
In addition to singing and reciting poetry, Tyson designed and sewed costumes, choreographed dancers, managed the money on the road, and occasionally housed Arkestra members in her New York apartment.
