Champeta w/ Edna Martinez
DJ and curator Edna Martínez, from Cartagena de Indias, presents champeta, a genre born inside the picós, the sound systems of Colombia’s Caribbean coast where music is presence, tension, gathering. It carries fragmented routes shaped by circulation and bootlegs. It becomes body, dance, code, a way of occupying a space that has never been neutral.
