From classically training in piano, to collaborating with free-jazz giant Ornette Coleman, to modelling for Manolo Blahnik & Warhol at Studio 54, few artists & performers have straddled as many worlds as Bombay-born Asha Puthli.
A favourite of David Mancuso's proto-disco loft parties, and sampled by countless hip hop producers, her sound is a fusion of R&B, soul, classic pop songwriting, & glam rock.
