Gayle San has been played on NTS shows including Mala Junta, with Fonk Ultimatum first played on 26 February 2016.

Gayle San left her native Singapore around 1990 and moved to London where she soon became resident DJ at 'Reach For The Sky' at Limelight Club and later at Universe’s Final Frontier at Club U.K. and the Complex. Gayle’s reputation spread quickly over the European techno cities and she made her breakthrough in Germany with a monthly residency at the legendary Omen in Frankfurt. She’s been part of the Frankfurt scene ever since and plays regularly at the U60311 and is also the only female resident DJ of the hugely popular radio and telly DJ show XXL Clubnight. Next to Germany, Gayle San has become quite a star in Spain although she’s spinning all around the globe. Her current residency is near Heidelberg, Germany.

As with so many others, DJing has naturally led Gayle to various studio works. Her sound that can best be described as tribal, for she merges hard Detroit oriented beats with very funky grooves. Gayle runs her own label Equator.
