There are several artists that go by the name of Amani:
A Catalan pop rock band called Amani.
Amani Al Swissi, a young Tunisian chanteuse who got her big break by auditioning for the second season of pan-Arab Star Academy, in 2005. Her debut album, Wain, was released in 2007 under the Rotana label. Within a few months, Amani's popularity rocketed, with her hit single, Shayef Nafso. Her vocal and performing talents have made her a star already. She also shot a video for Wain recently with Mirna Khayat-Abou Elias. Amani has also worked with Osama and Assi Al Rahbani in a Lebanese play titled Gibran Wal Nabi (Gibran and the Prophet). There were more than 50 showings across the Arab world and it was a huge success. Amani is currently busy with the summer festivals. She will perform in Tunisia, Jordan, Syria and other Arab countries.
A Gothenburg-based band with Edo Bumba from Gambia as singer/songwriter. They play "happy Africa-inspired world music with lots of djembe and other drums".
