Grand Valley State University New Music Ensemble has been played on NTS over 10 times, featured on 13 episodes and was first played on 5 January 2014.

The New Music Ensemble at Grand Valley State University is composed of students and volunteers. Founded in 2006 by its director Bill Ryan, the ensemble is best known for its performances and recording of Steve Reich's "Music for 18 Musicians".
