Elsa is a shoegaze-y indie rock band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Their membership includes Jonathan Rogers, Jesse Mirsky, Matthew Goldman, Angie Wong and Mike Aber. They recently released a new EP titled The Never Come Down on One Big Silence Records.

Elsa is a late-sixties era ye-ye girl. Strongly influenced by Bob Dylan, she gravitated toward the folk-rock genre, her song lyrics strongly reflecting typical beat generation themes and protest song structure.
