The Unknown has been played on NTS shows including Moxie , with Get On It first played on 23 November 2016.

There are multiple groups with the name The Unknown:

1.) A post-punk/early alternative rock band from Baltimore, Maryland formed sometime in the 1980s. They released their first record, The Unknown, in 1987. The follow-up to this was Fall, released in 1990. The band performed a reunion show in January of 2012.

2.) The Unknown must be familiar to you by now, as the group has been producing its ultra-adrenalized, fun-packed, rainy-summer's-night thoughtful (s)punky powerPOP! for ten straight years.

3.) The Unknown is a hip-hop duo that consists of brothers Bronze Nazareth and Kevlaar 7.

4.) The Unknown was formed smack dab in the sweet spot, 1987. A mainstay on the Florida’s west coast, the truly AOR band started gaining a following with each show played which then yielded bigger and bigger gigs. They were eventually asked to play spring break gigs in Ft. Lauderdale, one of the biggest draws for college students. There was a theory behind this…The Unknown drew lots and lots of girls to their shows and the boys would follow…the band was untouchable and could play anywhere they wanted on the Florida scene.

In 1989, The Unknown released their first and only album “Big Dreams” The band won the Budweiser Battle of the bands and A&R scouts started taking notice. Eventually EPIC Records signed the band in 1992
