gabino pampini was born in Panama and has performed in Columbia with outstanding Columbian musicians. He is a sonero in the classic Cuban sense with his ability to improvise melodies and play with the words. He is a great salsa singer with a hint of ismael rivera in the way he sings. His album "Havana Nights" is a particularly good example of his soulful singing style.
