Pedro Anibal de Oliveira Gomes, better known as Pepeu Gomes (born on February 7, 1952 in Salvador, Bahia state) is an accomplished Brazilian guitar player and composer. Pepeu is a major source of inspiration and national pride to Brazilian guitarists since he is one of a few Brazilian guitarists to play rock at a world class level. He was one of the members of Novos Baianos.
