The Schoolboys has been played on NTS shows including Studio One, with Dream Lover first played on 20 November 2020.

A handful of smaller bands have used the name "The Schoolboys" including:

1) the 50's R&B group from Harlem,

2) 80's underground metal cover band

3) an indie rock band formed in Reading, England in 2021. Their influences include The Smiths, The Strokes and The Smoking Popes. Their debut single "Nothing Ever Happens Here" released August 8th, 2021 , received 50 airplays from an independent music station in the span of three weeks.
