Bubba has been played on NTS shows including Budgie, with I Like Your Style (Instrumental) first played on 5 September 2013.

As a kid Jonny 'Bubba' Smyth started bashing out sounds on a drum machine and keyboard in his bedroom trying to emulate the sounds he was hearing down at his local club. Developing a love for electronic music, disco and house he started putting together tracks. Scoring a massive release on Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon's Classic label Scoper & Bubba "I'm Satisfied" which has seen a remastered reissue for the Classic back catalogue for 2011.
