Robert Ames has been played on NTS in shows including London Contemporary Orchestra, featured first on 15 May 2018. Songs played include 400 Feet, Space Hopper and Change Ringing.

Robert Ames (born in Kettering on 8 October 1985) is a British violist, composer and conductor who holds the positions of co-Artistic Director and co-Principal Conductor of the London Contemporary Orchestra. He released "Change Ringing" in 2021 and, as Ben Corrigan & Robert Ames, recorded "Carbs" in 2022.

Ames has collaborated with a wide range of artists including Frank Ocean, Imogen Heap, Ron Arad, Belle and Sebastian, Vivian Westwood, DJ Shadow, Jonny Greenwood, Radiohead and Foals.
