Provoker is a melancholic post punk band out of Los Angeles, California. Their music is synth-forward, moody, and contains a “deep sadness, escapism, and idealism” as described by their vocalist Christian Petty. Originally founded by guitarist Jonathan Lopez as an exploration in film composition, a chance meeting with Petty at a horror movie screening has transformed the band into the addicting rhythmic yearning woven into their sound today.
