Frédéric Motte was a prolific French musician in the Amiga demoscene, active there through the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was a member of many notable scene bands, including NoooN and Sanity, and started working in 1993 as an in-house composer for Kalisto Entertainment (formerly Atreid Concept) until January 2001, where he left the studio to go freelance again. His works at Kalisto Entertainment include the soundtracks for Fury of the Furries and the Nightmare Creatures series. According to an interview conducted in 2003 and reported through dascene.net, he still is an active composer for video games and earns his living as a producer and composer, frequently working with metal bands through his own recording studio, Conkrete Studio. He currently goes under the moniker Elmobo, having changed from his older one, Moby, so as to avoid any confusion with the electronic artist of the same name.
