Carbon 14 is a Dutch based electronic artist. Being active in the music scene for many years. He played keyboard in various bands, of which 'Harde Hond' and 'Twist of Fate' are the most well known. In 2006 he decided to quit playing in a band and to focus on creating electronic music. At that time he was already experimenting for some time under the name Carbon 14.

Together with Future Mode of Operations aka FMO>>, he released his first album 'SHEM Theme Tracks 2006 - Paradigm'.

Late 2007 Carbon 14 collaborated with FMO>> once more helped by Lies v/d Meer creating "Geluidskaart Leiden".
