Always

Always

Always has been played on NTS in shows including Bahamian Moor, featured first on 11 December 2021. Songs played include The Flying Display, The Crown V Always and Park Row.

There are aleast two artists with the name Always.

Always was the first alias of British indie rock / pop phenomenon Kevin Wright, who has subsequently recorded under the name Mr. Wright. The album Thames Valley Leather Club (1988) was released on the eighties cult label, él Records: authorly and faintly twee, but also with a humorous and sexual undercurrent. The second Always album, entitled Always Looking for Mr Wright came out in 1990, after which Wright reverted to Mr. Wright as his moniker of choice.

Always is Alex Vivian, one Australian guy with a sampler and a delay pedal. He creates intricate, often improvised, layered voice compositions. That touch on topics such as homosexuality, twinks, death and acid, ecstacy and decay. He is signed to various labels such as Circle Jerk and his last album was called F.I.S.T. ('Freedom In Shit Together'). Always now spends his time collaborating in bands, notably GUGG and the ambient black metal project, Gauntlet.
