Max Herre was the frontman of the german rapgroup Freundeskreis, having published the two records Quadratur Des Kreises (1997) and Esperanto (1999). In 2004 he released his first, self titled, record as solo artist. In August 2012, 8 years after his debut Hallo Welt! was released. It features collaborations with Patrice, Samy Deluxe, Clueso and Aloe Blacc.
He is also the producer of his ex-wife, the german soul singer Joy Denalane
