音丸 has been played on NTS shows including Death Is Not The End, with Yoneyama Sanri first played on 12 January 2019.

Geisha Otomaru of Shinbashi ( 音丸 1906-1976) was born near the end of the Meiji era and began her singing career in the Taisho era. She was noted for her beautiful clothes and lovely Sokuhastsu hairstyle. In 1947 Hibari Misora at age 10 was the opening act for an Otomaru performance.
