Rat Heart Ensemble has been played on NTS shows including Last Resort, with Chikonga first played on 19 February 2022.

Rat Heart Ensemble is a variation of Rat Heart, the project by Manchester artist Tom Boogizm. In 2022 Rat Heart Ensemble released the album "A Blues" on Boogizm's own label Shotta Tapes.
