$.99 Dreams has been played on NTS shows including SHAPE+, with Wagering Information first played on 26 February 2022.

$.99 Dreams are based in Brooklyn. They make instrumental music with elements of hip-hop and free-jazz. Their influences include J Dilla, Sun Ra, Ornette Coleman, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, DJ Premier and Edgar Varese.

Their records are recorded live using drums, analog synth, piano, organ, saxophone, clarinet, and percussion.

In October, 2014, DRAFT records is releasing a vinyl LP, Spei Res.
