Milton Banana (born Antônio de Souza) was one of the seminal drummers of the bossa nova style of jazz. A self-taught musician, he is best known for his collaboration with bossa nova luminaries João Gilberto and Stan Getz and for his work with the group he founded, the Milton Banana Trio.
