Roots Underground has been played on NTS in shows including Kutmah Presents: Sketchbook Radio, featured first on 10 October 2013. Songs played include High Times, Runaway Dub and Shotgun Skank.

(1) Roots Underground, whose album Tribesman Assault appeared first in 1977 (and was reissued in 2003 as both LP and CD), can easily be confused with another, much more recent reggae act from Jamaica, Rootz Underground. I left the description of the group written with the "z" untouched, see no. 2 below.
