The Shroud

The Shroud

The Shroud has been played on NTS shows including Axcess Amnesia w/ Jenny Sayaka Nono, with Ophelia first played on 18 March 2022.

There is more than one The Shroud:

Combining modern dark rock sounds with a neo-pagan slant, the Shroud weaves an irresistible spell. First manifesting on Halloween of 1991, they have been enchanting listeners ever since.

In addition to four releases of their own, the Shroud have appeared on numerous compilations and tribute albums, a video compilation, and in books on the gothic underground.

The Shroud consists of five unique and accomplished musicians. The combination of their talents creates an aural landscape filled with changeable moods and mysterious imagery. They reflect our world like rippling water -- forever shifting, a dark and soft edged picture that leaves more to the imagination than to the senses.

Southern California Hardcore band with short songs clocking in around the 1:30 minute mark.

Formed in late 2009/Early 2010 and comprising members of many previous & current local bands; they have just recorded their debut demo (as of April '10).
