Salem Mass has been played on NTS in shows including Black Impulse, featured first on 7 May 2022. Songs played include Witch Burning.

In 1971 four young men from Sun Valley Idaho; Jim Klahr (keyboards), Mike Snead (lead guitar and vocals), Steve Towery (drums and vocals), and Matt Wilson (bass and vocals) decided that Salem Mass would be a good name for a group. They played psychedelic rock and released one record titled Witch Burning the same year.
