Spinal Machine was an alias of the late composer and multimedia artist John Watermann. He was born February 19, 1935 in Berlin and died April 2002 in Brisbane, Australia. Watemann ran an independent label called Night Shift Records and also recorded under the names Total Disease and Radio Mull.
