Balaton has been played on NTS in shows including Natalia Panzer, featured first on 14 June 2022. Songs played include Valld Be… and Újra Ölt.

Hungarian alternative band founded in 1979. The singer and composer of the band is Víg Mihály, famous for writing the soundtracks of several Bela Tarr movies. In the first time, they worked together with Trabant, after their break-up, Balaton joined Európa Kiadó ('84-'87), another cult-alter band of the time.

Unlike their brother-bands, Balaton is still active today (altough not releasing new albums) giving concerts in small clubs and festivals.
