Stūrī Zēvele has been played on NTS shows including OnoTesla, with Dzīves akā first played on 18 June 2022.

The very beginning of Stūrī Zēvele was in 2006 in one of the most beautiful and romantic towns in Northern Europe - Kuldīga, Latvia - when guitarist Klāvs Lauls and flutist Justīne Kuzņecova started to make music. After a little while vocalist Kate Briška joined the band and they started to compose their own songs. Since 2008, when pianist Ilze Abersone joined Stūrī Zēvele, they have performed as a quartet.
