1)Direct Action from Toronto, Ontario, started in the early 80s. Vocalist Tim and bassist Dave from the St. Catherines band the Unknowns joined up with Xig on guitar and Mike on drums. Their 1984 demo tape captures the band at their earlier, faster period. One of the songs appeared on the Canadian compilation LP Primative Air-Raid.
