Patriarchy is the transgressive ‘snuff-pop’ project led by songwriter, director, and vocalist Actually Huizenga. Probing the soft underbelly of sex, power, subversion, and death, it exists where desire and fear inevitably intertwine. Never shy about confronting audiences with visceral, often unsettling live performances, Patriarchy marries NSFW carnage with infectious electronic dance, crushing industrial metal, and suffocating experimental noise. The result is a raw, theatrical expression of Huizenga’s singular vision.
