DJ A.J. Mora is considered one of L.A.'s most influential dance music producers and DJ's. In 1992, after producing and performing the 1 Billboard Magazine Dance Chart hit (Aug 1992) "Jump Everybody!" by the Techno trio The Movement, A.J. began to DJ and perform internationally. In 1994 A.J. Co-founded the indie-label Aqua Boogie Records based in Los Angeles with long time friends and partners Richard Vission and DJ Tony B! The label had domestic and intentional success with club hits like The Feeling by Sugar and Energy by Devone'. Taking the club scene by storm, A.J. has had countless 12" releases on such labels as NYC’s Strictly Rhythm, Mercury and Tommy Boy's silver traxx, just to name a few. He has done remix work for artists such as Donna Summer (Melody of Love), Crystal Waters, Alexia, Ralph Tresvant, Gerardo, Miranda, Jeremy Dawson and many more… His DJ experience include his regular part on long time running radio dance music mix show PowerTools (KPWR L.A.) and Groove Radio with Swedish Egil. He was resident DJ at L.A.’s DOME in the mid 90’s a premiere Saturday night club experience with 2000 + strong every week! Other venues across the globe include Australia, Dominican Republic, Taiwan, Japan and Costa Rica.
