Nowfolk has been played on NTS in shows including Ted Draws, featured first on 26 July 2022. Songs played include What-Cha-Wan-Do?, They Are Listening and Life-Like.

Nowfolk is a rap group formed by Moka Only and Ishkan formed in 1998 at Vancouver, Canada. They released their debut album, “Style Gangstas” in 1999, followed by “The Moon” in 2002. Later, two more Nowfolk albums, “Magnesium Opium” (Supposed to be released in 2003) and “The Winter. From 2001,” (Supposed to be released in 2001) were released in 2016 after being shelved for several years. Nowfolk was a side project to their regular recording schedule and allowed them to experiment a bit more.

Moka Only was decently successful with his solo music while the other member, Ishkan, didn’t make it high up with his solo music
