Born in Marrakech, Hamid Zaher grew up with a specifically joyful part of Moroccan culture.

With his songs: “Al Gnawi Sidi Mimoun”, “Andi Miaâd”, “Lalla Zhirou” and “Ach Dak Tmchi lzine”, Hamid Zahir was one of the modern Moroccan Chaâbi precursors.
