Syncope

Syncope has been played on NTS in shows including Forager Records, featured first on 18 August 2022. Songs played include Dragueur.

Metalcore band from Mechelen, Belgium

Syncope wants music to strike the right note with listeners. They describe their music as: "metal with the majority of metalcore influences." It is very difficult and almost impossible to be original in metalcore. Syncope wants to prove with their new album, The Ascent, that they don't belong in the "box" of metalcore. Their music is more varied and they incorporate screams and clean singing in original choruses. With an eye for detail, guitarharmony and strong songwriting, Syncope tries to be an accessible alternative. They can relate to mainstream bands like Killswitch Engage and Machine Head, but also with their gods of trash: Metallica, Slayer and Kreator.

Indie / Progressive / Rock band from Baltimore, Maryland, United States

Modern Metal band from Sevastopol, Ukraine

Hard rock band from Tunis, Tunisia
