Garfield can refer to a German eurodance project of Metronome records, featuring a solo vocalist from London called Rachel Wallace. Rachel had already scored some solo hits with "I Feel This Way" in 1991 and later "Tell Me Why" in 1994, which went #1 in the british dance charts in 1994. Garfield released the singles "Cool Cat" and "Party Of Love", both taken from the album "Keep Cool Cat". The project was arranged and produced by Giorgio Koppehele, Martin Koppehele, Suna Koppehele, and Gabi Koppehele.

Garfield also refers to a Canadian band from the 1970s and 1980s that recorded four albums: Strange Streets 1976, [Mercury/Capricorn], Out There Tonight 1977, Reason To Be 1979, and Flights of Fantasy 1981 [PolyGram]
