The Geese

The Geese

The Geese has been played on NTS in shows including Space Afrika , featured first on 4 October 2022. Songs played include Air Flask.

There are multiple artists named The Geese:

New project from Josiah Wolfson and Sean McCann.

The Geese are a collection of talented songwriters and instrumentalists intent on making the best of each other's songs, helping them meet their full potential.

From guitar to cello, from accordion to melodious vocals, from electric guitar to drums, the Geese come together with a bang.

It began one night when some of us were talking about what it would be look like to pool the creativity and passion so present in each artist's music. "It would be great!" we said with enthusiasm.

So we began playing together….and it was great. So great that we decided to take the fun and make fun-omade!

We sat down together and began brainstorming, sharing which songs we liked best from the different songwriters. From that came the practices: experiences in the kind of cohesive and creative musicality that most musicians dream about having with each other.

The songs are wonderful, poetic, catchy, danceable, and thought provoking.

The people are good entertainers all, each individually road-savvy and experienced in playing to crowds, in pubs and clubs, cafes and festivals.

The unique thing about The Geese, besides their good looks, is the quality of their songs, the execution of those songs, and the sense of art and fun colliding. All these things come together when The Geese play, facilitating a good time in every sense of the word.

THE GEESE are: Zachari Smith Joel Mason Joel Gorrie Zoe Fitch Dave Warne

The Geese, an indie/acoustic band from Chicago, Illinois

Andrew Hawthorne:: Guitar & Vocals Steve Holmes:: (American Football) Guitar & Vocals Steve Lamos: (American Football, DMS, The One Up Downstairs): Drums & Trumpet Otto Junker: Bass & Guitar
