András Hargitai was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1984. He produces music under the name Soutien Gorge and Banyek. He deejays under the same name (played at more than 30 venues in Hungary since 2002, at Sónar Festival 2004, Brno's NewNew! Festival 2006, Sperm Festival 2007 in Prague and NewNew! Festival again in 2008).

He was one of the resident dj's at the Hungarian Mono Electroniclub with night sessions titled 'BommBomm'. The genres in his dj sets range from ambient & music concrete to deep/dubtechno, electro-techno, chiptune, rave and recently a freely interpreted subgenre of dubstep/grime.

He manages 2 labels: One is Bitlab Records – founded with Cooler (Chi Recordings, U-Cover), it is supported by internationally well-known artists – and the other is the free netlabel Complementary Distribution. He works as a music critic/interviewer as well, has interviewed many pioneers in contemporary electronic music.

He studied English Language and Literature, Aesthetics and Teaching at University, also he has translated essays on music by Fransisco López, Douglas Kahn, Philip Sherburne and others. These translations have been recently published in Hungary in a book titled 'Medium, Sound, Aesthetics - Musicality in the age of Medial Technologies'.

Currently, he has stopped deejaying, and has started building an all-analog live setup.
