Gutevolk has been played on NTS in shows including Freedom To Spend, featured first on 25 November 2022. Songs played include Rainy Dragoon, Hinagiku and Light Parade.

Gutevolk is the solo project of singer-songwriter Hirono Nishiyama (西山豊乃) from Kanagawa, Japan. Her first work as a musician was a soundtrack for the independent film "Tendon Hardboiled" in 1997. She was signed to Nobukazu Takemura (竹村延和)'s Childisc label in 2001 and had two releases that year (Pied Piper, Kaisentou EP) as well as collaborated with Takemura as a vocalist.
