Terri Rae has been played on NTS in shows including Forager Records, featured first on 5 January 2023. Songs played include Raining It's Raining.

Terri Rae was born in hill country of Stuart, Ohio into a musical family. She was inspired by the jazz bassist Sam Jones and decided to take up the instrument. After moving to NYC to pursue her jazz dreams she was met with doubts because of her diminutive size. An agent suggested she try a career in singing. She cut one LP "It's Raining," for Audio Fidelity in 1968 with the presence of pianist-arranger Sammy Benskin.
