Tongue Depressor has been played on NTS shows including Kali Malone, with Monocline first played on 28 September 2019.

Tongue Depressor is an experimental drone duo based out of New Haven, Connecticut consisting of Zach Rowden and Henry Birdsey. According to the duo's Bandcamp, "they write, improvise, and perform drone-based music with fiddles, pedal steel, lap steel, contrabass, organ, and bells, usually involving microtonal tunings and re-arranged/re-tuned fragments of American church music."
