Sons And Daughters Of Lite has been played on NTS over 10 times, featured on 11 episodes and was first played on 25 February 2014.

Formed in Oakland in the early 1970s the Sons and Daughters of Lite released an album called "Let The Sunshine In" .There music is an Afro-Latin-Jazz fusion of soul, funk and heavy percussion. The title track became a jazz dance classic, courtesy of heavy play by top UK DJ Gilles Peterson.
