The Brazilian duo Rosanna & Zelia marry jazz, chamber music and even pop with the indigenous sounds of Brazil and Latin America. Rosanna Tavares & Zélia Fonseca joined forces at the tender age of 14 in their native state of Minas Gerais. Since arriving in Germany in 1991, the two musicians have built up a solid reputation of intrepid and original artists, willing to turn classic Brazilian sounds on their heads by crossing them with traditional rhythms from the Old Continent and the New World.
