Being deeply interested in cultural artistic movement of the 1st French '900, in the last years the pianist Cristina Ariagno dedicated herself to the execution and diffusion of the French composers who operated between the 2nd '800 and the 1st '900, revaluating in this way composers who were often and unjustly forgotten. She played for important musical societies in all Italy, Spain, France, Romania, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, South America, also featuring with several orchestra like the "Piccola Sinfonica" of Milano and the "Orchestra Filarmonica " of Minsk. Graduated in piano, choral music and choir direction, she improved herself with Clara Fumagalli, a great pupil of Benedetta Michelangeli. The scrupulous analyse of the score united to a timbre research and to a deep knowledge of the historical background took her to record the integral of the "room" music with piano of Debussy, some of the solo pieces of Ravel Poulenc, Milhaud, Debussy, Satie, Boulanger, Tailleferre, Ibert. She recorded for the Italian Nuova Era, the French Timpani and the German Arts. Intentioned to perform the '900 wide French repertoire, Cristina Ariagno founded the Art Nouveau Ensemble in which different artists co-operated: Massimo Marin, Christian Bellisario, Gabriella Bosio, Claire Gouton, Piero Marchetti, Luigi Picatto, Pierluigi Puglisi, Manuel Zigante.
