With his heart & soul open to the world around him, Mack Keane writes songs with a distinctive touch of warmth & sincerity. Growing up in a family of musicians, it’s only natural that he thrives as an artist, producer, & performer.
Born & raised in Los Angeles, high school-Mack fondly remembers biking to Target to buy a copy of Frank Ocean's Channel Orange. He added that CD to a collection ranging from Stevie Wonder & Steely Dan to Outkast & Pharell. Today, Mack combines these influences into timeless songs that transport us back in time through vivid memories.
In 2019, he began a trilogy of EPs, each named after a nostalgic place from his childhood. Donna Ave takes us back to the street where Mack grew up, immersed in music as his family ran a home recording studio. Aquanetta Dr juxtaposed bright, warm sounds with dark, introspective lyricism. Mack concluded the trilogy with Dry Creek Rd, reminiscing about moments that existed in another time & space. We hear Mack discovering his sound in real-time, as he peels away the layers with each new song, getting closer & closer to his core.
His latest single “Aaliyah” sees Mack more vulnerable than ever before, inviting us into a world swirling with nostalgia & heartbreak. This song marks the beginning of a new era for Mack – one driven by the clarity of self reflection & unapologetic honesty. With his most authentic music on the horizon, Mack is grounded in the present, enjoying every step of his ascent.
