Dave Ball (David Ball) was a member of 80s iconic electronic duo Soft Cell along with Marc Almond and of 90s electronic dance act The Grid.

Soft Cell briefly reformed in 2002, although they are once again lying dormant whilst both Ball and Almond concentrate on their solo work.
