Macbeth is a heavy metal band from Uruguay that formed in the late 1980s and continued into the mid 1990s. The band ended shortly after the passing of vocalist Mariel Marnai in 1999. In 1993, they released their first and only full length album Signos Vitales with the label Perro Andaluz. The album was recorded at the studio of Washington Carrasco and Cristina Fernández, musicians of Canto Popular. They also appeared on the 1989 compilations Brigada Metalica and Latinos Metalicos.
