DJ Vortex has been played on NTS shows including Gutterring, with Last Night first played on 31 May 2023.

DJ Vortex is one of many aliases for Rob Verhoeven, a Dutch hardcore/gabber producer/DJ. DJ for eighteen years, producer for twelve, he imposed his style into the best European clubs, and is now becoming a worldwide fame producer in the techno scene. He is the absolute forerunner of the hardstyle phenomenon and is the flagship of the Stik Records since 1997. As for Stik he recorded his album Enter and mixed various compilations for them. After all his hard work he became STIK'S A&R (Artists & Repertoire Manager).

Other aliases include Counterfeit, Legion of the Lost, Final Defence, Legion, Endeavour, and Revolter.
