Love Supreme

Love Supreme has been played on NTS shows including Latete Atoto, with Stauf first played on 1 May 2014.

There are at least two artists called Love Supreme.

Love Supreme is Italian producer and guitar player Sapo and Producer/DJs Nick 'Sat' Sarno and Roberto Di Movi. After remixing two tracks by legendary Italian DJ Bruno Bolla for the compilation 'Blacktronica' (which included names such as Pressure Drop, Quantic, Ashley Beedle, Jill Scott and Matthew Herbert) the trio started the Love Supreme project as an outlet for their combined musical interests.

The Love Supreme sound takes on a variety of influences - classic italo-disco, psychedelia, Krautrock, early electronica (Tangerine Dream, Klaus Shulze etc), Detroit-Techno and John Carpenter soundtracks amongst others - and combines them to create something fresh and unique. Their first release for Tirk was heard on underground dancefloors everywhere following its release at the end of 2006, with the icy robo-disco of Rocquet complimented by the psychedelic rollercoaster funk of Pork Chop Express on the flip. The 12" won them a wide range of fans - from cult "cosmic" DJ Daniele Baldelli to big hitters Groove Armada and everyone in between.

Love Supreme is an indie / alternative rock band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, with a punk / DIY attitude. They released two albums thus far: Poetry for the youth (2019) and Tuesday (2021). Personnel: Jeroen Ligter, Jan Petit, Herman Ypma, Joris van Weasberge.
