Sons Of Funk has been played on NTS shows including ABBY IMPERIAL, with Don't Wanna Let You Go first played on 1 August 2023.

Rico, Des, Renzo and G Smooth are not your ordinary R&B group; they're a band. They all play their own instruments, as well as singing. Master P signed the group to No Limit Records after meeting in a hotel lobby. They made their first break-through performance to the world on the song "Pushin Inside You" off the I'm Bout It soundtack. After that, they continued to do features on almost every No Limit artist's album and then dropped their debut album The Game of Funk in 1998. The Sons have rarely been heard from since being released from No Limit in 2000.
